Hi, I’m Angela!
Welcome to my blog! I’m so happy you’re here! I’m a native Floridian, mom to two wonderful girls, married to my husband of 15 years, and we are a Disney family at heart!
I moved a lot growing up, but it was my experience as a military spouse and mom that forced me to develop a system to relocating. Finding ways to adapt and thrive in a new location is not easy – even when you’ve done it as many times as I have. I’ve had at least 30 addresses in my lifetime! So in 2016, when my husband retired from the military, we were more than ready to plant some roots. And we chose the Orlando area as our forever home!
Once we discovered the wonderful community the exists outside of theme parks, we knew we wanted to live in Central Florida, not just visit for vacation. We had to figure out so much out on our own from the planning, to jobs, schools, moving, and settling in. Moving to Orlando came with its own special set of challenges. Three years later, we have no regrets and love living in the Orlando area. But I have a passion for sharing tips to help others make a smoother move to Orlando.
Simplifying the relocation overwhelm
I enjoy sharing my tips and advice so others can turn their dream of living in Orlando into reality – and hopefully with less fear and anxiety. And although no city is perfect, Central Florida has many reasons to love living here.
My blog is for anyone thinking about moving to Orlando, in the midst of planning their move, or already living here and looking to learn more about Central Florida life. I’m here to help YOU learn about the things you should know before you move to Orlando and how to make the most of your new beginning.
